The product was prepared by the reaction of propanediol with bromohydrogen acid. Concentrated sulfuric acid and 1,3-Propanediol were added to the bromohydrogen acid, then slowly dripped into concentrated sulfuric acid, then refluxed in the sand bath for 7 hours, then the coarse product was steamed out and washed with water once. 10% sodium thiosulfate solution was used to wash 10% sodium carbonate twice for 2-3 times, then the water layer was removed and dried with anhydrous calcium chloride. The product was obtained by constant pressure fractionation and collection of 159-168 ℃ fractions.
